Band

  • Medieval music band Bakchus was established in 2006 and has performed hundreds of concerts in many European countries (Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, and Ukrainem, Cyprus etc.) and in Japan.
  • The four members of the band are professional musicians from Prague and Brno, with a wide range of experience from all music genres (classic, musicals, jazz etc.). 
  • Their repertoire comprises of European dances and songs from the 12th to 16th centuries.
  • Its instrumentation consists of replicas of period instruments (shawm, bagpipes, gemshorns, quintern, cittern, lute, harp, vielle).
  • Bakchus band is also involved in recording TV shows and films (Borgia, Cyril a Metoděj, Die Pilgerin, Jan Hus, Marthes Geheimnis, The Musketeers – BBC, Die Puppenspieler, Filharmonici na ulici, Sofia, Knightfall, Serpent Gift, The Ash Lad – Askeladden, Letter for the King, The King – PlayStation 4 Sony …), appearing in theater performances (Romeo a Julie – Theatre Celetná Prague), and recording scenic music for radio broadcasting (David a Bat-šeba – Czech Radio), theaters (Tvrz – Theatre Bolka Polívky) and computer games (Kingdome Come Deliverance – Warhors Studios).

  • Private classical guitar classes with Jan Korger, electric guitar classes with Otta Pinkner, singing classes with Pavel Josífek and Hana Málková.

  • Since 1996 he has founded and performed in several bands of diverse genres. Kovlad, Rammstein Revival Brno, Ghotic, Weytora, Ensemble Sarabande, Housebroken Consort, Ensemble Musica Armonia, Ensemble Tourbillon, Westminster Opera (GB), Sinfonietta Baden (AT), Filharmonie Bohuslava Martinů Zlín, Brno Baroque, Czech Ensemble Baroque, Polyfonion etc.
  • He has also participated on many recordings as a choir singer and worked as background vocalist with the rock group Manowar.
  • Since 2011 Capella Antiqua Brunensis – baroque music.
  • Since 2012 Duo Infinitas – lute instruments (lute, archlute, theorbe, baroque guitars, …).
  • As a lute player he performs solo as well as a continuo player. Actively performs in the Czech Republic and abroad (Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Austria, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Japan, Cyprus).

  • 1994 – 2002 medieval music band Krless
  • Since 2002 he has sang and played medieval solo music and has collaborated with many Czech and German groups: Jagabab (member since 2006), Musica Vagantium, Kurzweyl, Tippel Klimper, Cormalen, Holba, Peregrin and many more projects and with other musicians.
  • Renaissance and Baroque music – in 2005 he founded the male ensemble vocal polyphony “Polyphonion”, mainly focusing on Czech and European Renaissance and medieval polyphonic music production and interpretation of Gregorian chant. He has also played with other music ensembles (Affetto, …). As a solo singer (bass, bassbaritone) he has occasionally performed with various baroque ensembles (repertoire: Bach, Händel, Zelenka, Schmelzer, …) and also interprets classical (Mozart, Dvořák, Smetana, …) and contemporary music (eg. performing at the Days of Contemporary Music in Prague 2001).

  • Already at the age of 10 years he performed and recorded for radio, television and film with the Children’s Choir of the Czechoslovak Radio with conductor Čestmír Stašek. In the twelve years he collaborated with Petr Šefl as a soprano singer in songs and arias by J. S. Bach and Miloš Bok, who he premiered Missa Brevis in E major together with his brothers.
  • A member of musical ensembles Karmína, Limbora, Chorea Bohemica, Jagabab, Irish Dew, Cain Da Breth, Hurdy-Gurdy, Polyphonion, Šmrnc, Pražští Pěvci, Thuri Ensemble, Psohlavci a Duo Free with Lukáš Kuta. He occasionally cooperates with baroque music ensembles, and rock bands (Musica Florea, Messa di Voce), rock bands (Vepřové komety, Skrytý půvab byrokracie) a DJ (FaTech, MindGroove).
  • He plays violin, baroque violin, viola, vielle, viola d’amore, erhu, harp, cornett, trumpet, recorder, piano, organ, conducts and performs choral and solo singing, adjusts folk songs.
  • For Černošice music school, he has founded a Czech folk band Pramínek and Černošice Philharmonia.
