The group Bakchus was created in Brno, Czech Republic, in 2006.
We deal with interpretation of mediaeval and Renaissance music. In our interpretation you may hear Latin, German, French, Spanish, English, Italian, but also Czech songs.
Most songs are performed in their original languages and we usually use replicas of mediaeval instruments for performances. Also our period costumes help create the atmosphere of the performance.
Our performance is suitable to supplement the atmosphere of city or castle functions, festivals, fairs, banquets and mediaeval pubs. For larger venues a PA system should be supplied.
